SUPPLEMENTARY
A BY-LAWT0 PROVIDE FOR THE 196.3.EXPENDITURES ON ROADS IN THE
COUNTY
TOWNSHIP OF PICKERIi'IG IN THE OF
DISTRIOT
WIIEREAS The Highway hnprovement Act requires that the total expenditure on
roads be provided for annually by by-law and that file hydaw be submitted to the 5finister
of Ilighways for approval.
THEREFORE ~he Council of the Corpo ration of lhe said Township enacts as follows:
(1) The sum of $..~O~.OQQ...0Q ........... is hereby estimated as the expenditure upon
the construction and maintenance of the roads and bridges under its jurisdiction during the
year 19..63..... as follows:

(2) The said monies shall be expended under the supervision of the duly appo~ted
township road superintendent and on work performed in accordance with The Highway
Improvemcn~ Act.
(8) The clerk shall transmit duplica~ copies of this by4aw to the district office of
t[m Mnnlcipal Roads Branch, Department of Iligbways, Ontario not later than ~arch 31st
of the said year.
(4) The approval of the Ontario Municipal Board shall be obtained before any
pettditure is authorized or work commenced which will he financed by the i~ue of deben-
tures or monies raised in a subsequent year
(5) That By-Law Number 2836 be and t?qe sane is hereby ~epealed.
