A BY-LAW OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF PICKERINC
TO SET A DATE FOR THE FIRST MEETING OF COUNCIL.
WHEREAS Section 184(1) of the Municipal Act provides
that the first meeting of Council of a local municipality
shall be held on the second Monday in January at 11
o'clock in the forenoon or at such hour and day as may
be fixed by by-law of Council;
BE IT THEREFORE E~ACT~.D by the Municipal Council of the
T°~nship of Picketing that:
1. The first meeting of Council of the Township of
Picketing shall be held in the Council Chambers
on the first Monday in January at the hour of
8 o'clock in the evening~ excepting when New Year's
Day falls on Monday, then the first meeting shall be
held on the following Tuesday at the hour of 8
o'clock in the evening.
2. By-Law No. 26~4 be and the same is hereby ~epealed.
BY-LAW read a First and Second time this~day of
~1963.
BY-LAW read a Third time and PASSED this ~/~day of
~ 1963.
