A MUSEUM COMMITTEE OF THE TOWNSHIP OF PICKERIHG.
WHEREAS the Pickering Township Historical Society was organized
in 1959 and their main project was the acquiring of a building to
be used as a Museum, and said Museum is now filled with articles of
historic interest;
&fiD WHEREAS the Museums Advisor of the Department of Travel and
Publicity advises that to secure Provincial grants, it is necessary
that the members of a Museum Committee shall be appointed by Council,
and that two members of such Committee be Council members;
BE IT THEREFORE ENACTED by the Municipal Council of the Townshio of
Picketing that the following named persons shall comprise the Town-
ship of Picketing Museum Committee for the year 1963:
Dr. M. F. Tomlinson
Hugh Gregg
Milton Parkin
William Brown
Mrs. Ko Fallis
Mrs. M. Loucks
E. E. Petitjean
J. Sherman Scott
Milton Mowbray
