A BY-LAW OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF PICKERING TO ESTABLISH
A COMMUNITY CENTRE AND ATHLETIC FIELD IN BLOCK DA, PLAN M-11 AT BAY
RIDGES,
WHEREAS provision is made for the establishment of a Community Centre
and Athletic field in Ontario under the Community Centres Act, 1960;
AND WHEREAS it is desired to establish a Community Centre in Block DA,
Plan M-11 at Bay Ridges in the Township of Picketing;
THEREFORE the Municipal Council of the Township of Picketing ENACTS
as follows:
THAT a Community Centre defined as a Community Centre and Athletic
Field under the Community Centres Act, 1960, and the regulations
thereunder, be established at Block DA~ Plan M-11~ at Bay Ridges,
and that the said Community Centre and Athletic Field be administered
by the following Beard, duly appointed for the ensuing year:

2. THAT said Community Centre and Athletic Field shall be maintained as a
Community Centre and Athletic Field by the said Board in conformity with
the Act and regulations made thereunder.
3. THAT the said Community Centre and Athletic Field shall be known as the
James Mitchell Community Centre and Athletic Field.
4. THAT By-Law No. 2629 be and the same is hereby repealed.
