THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF Pickering
WHEREAS by Agreement dated the l4t,h day
of March 19 60 , between The Hydro-Electric Power
Commission of Ontario and the Corporation (which Agreement is
hereinafter called "the Street Lighting Agreement")f the
Corporation contracted with the said Commission for the light-
ing of streets in that area of the Township as described in
the Corporationts' By-law No. 2494
AND WHEREAS the Corporation desires that the Street
Lighting Agreement shall also apply to an additional; area in
the Township as hereinafter described;
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF TI4E
TOWNSHIP OF Pickering enacts
as follows:
1. That the Street Lighting Agreement shall apply to
that additional area in the Township as hereinafter described,
namely: all that area in the Township of Pickering As
shown, outlined in red on the attached plan: marked
exhibit "A" and known, as School Area Number Two.
2. That 100 % of the cast incurred by the Corporation
under the Street Lighting Agreement for the lighting of streets
in the said additional area shall be assessed and levied on
the rateable property in the area.
3 • That '0 % of the cost so incurred by. the Corporation
shall be paid by the Corporation.
