REPEAL BY-LAW NUMBER 2667 AND CLAUSE 2 oF BY-LAW NUMBER 2627
RELATING TO THE USE OF CERTAIN LANDS FOR OPERATION OF AN
AUTOMOBILE RACING CIRCUIT WHICH PROPOSED TO AMEND ZONING
BY-LAW NUMBER 2511.
WHEREAS the Ontario Municipal Board refused to permit the
commercial operation of an automobile racing circuit on
parts of Lots 15 and 16 in the Fist Concession of the Town-
ship of Pickerlng, as set out in By-Laws Nos. 2667 and
2627.
BE IT THEREFORE ENACTED by the Munciipal Council of the
Township of Picketing that:
1. By-Law No. 2667 passed on February 19, 1962, be and
· the same is hereby repealed.
2. Clause 2 of By--Law No. 2627, passed September 5, 1961,
· reading "Section 17 of By-Law Number 2511 be and the
same is hereby amended by adding thereto Section 17.3
as follows:
"17.3 Exemptions
"17.3.1. Notwithstanding anything contained in
section 17.1 of this By-Law the lands
described below and any buildings or
structures erected thereon from time to
time may be used as an automobile
racing circuit and other uses permitted
in an 02 zone:
That part of the Township of Picketing
comprising that part of Lot 15~ Concession
1, bounded on the north by the southerly
limit of the C. N. R., on the east by the
westerly limit of Church Street, on the
south by the northerly limit of Station
By-Pass street and on the west by the
westerly limit of Lot 15."
