HomeMy WebLinkAboutBy-law 2757 A by-law to accept as public works and public property on behalf of the Municipal Corporation of the Township of Picketing (herein called the "Township") the water treatment plant and lands on which the same is erected described as Schedule "A" hereto annexed and the sewage disposal plant and the lands on which the same is erected described in Schedule "B" hereto annexed as of the 2nd day of April, 1962, WHEREAS the water treatment plant erected on the lands described in Schedule "A" hereto annexed and the sewage disposal plant erected on the lands described in Schedule "B" hereto annexed were completed on April 2, 1962 and the Township has agreed to accept the said water treatment plant and tke sewage disposal plant as public works as of April 2, 1962; AMO WHEREAS the lands described in said Schedules "A" and "B" hereto annexed are now ohmed by the Township; NOW THEREFORE BE IT Ei~[CTED and it is hereby enacted as a By-law of the Township of Picketing as follows: 1. The Township hereby accepts and assumes as of April 2, 1962 as public works and public property the water treatment plant and the sewage disposal plant and the lands on ~ic}l they are respectively erected more particularly described in Schedules "A" and "B" hereto annexed. 2. The said schedules "A" and "B" annexed hereto shall form part of this By-law. AND SINGULAR that certain parcel or tract of land and premises situate, lying and being in the Township of Pickering and County of Ontario and being composed of part of Lot 19 in the Second QanKe of the Broken Front Concession of the said Township which said parcel is more particularly described as follows: P 'REVISING that the bearing of the East limit of the said Lot 19 Range 2 ie North 17° 13' 50" West and relating all bearings used herein thereto; COM~MENCING at a point in the Fast limit of the said Lot 19 distant Southerly therein 1,997.20 feet from the North East angle of the said Lot 19; the said Point of Commencement being in line with a fance running Westerly; THEECE South 72° Ol' 20" West along said fence to a point in line with a fence running Southerly, a distance of 665.53 feet; THENCE South 19° 20' 40" East along said fence, and Southerly production thereof, to a point in the high water mark oC Lake Ontario, a distance of 633.22 feet more or less; THENCE Easterly along said high water mark to a point of intersection with the said East limit of Lot 19, a distance of 670 feet more or less; THENCE Northerly along said East limit of Lot 19 a distance of 713.80 feet more or less to the Point of Commencement. SCHEDULE "B" ALL AND SINGULAR that certain parcel or tract of land and premises situate, lying and being in the Township of Picketing in the County and Province of Ontario, containing by admeasurement 7.1 acres more or less, and being composed of part of Lot 22 in the Third Range of the Broken Front Concession. The said parcel may be more particularly described as follows:- PREMISING that the w~stern limit of the said Lot 22 has a bearing of Norbh 16 degrees west and referring all bearings herein thereto; COMMENCING at a point in the said western limit of Lot 22, distant 469.50 feet southerly therein from the south-west angle of a Plan on file in the Registry Office for the Registry Division of the County of Ontario as number 237; THENCE north 74 degrees east, 500.0 feet; THENCE south 16 degrees east, 680.0 feet more or less to the high w~ter mark of the northerly shore of Frenchman's Bay; THENCE westerly along the said northerly shore of Frenchman's Bay to the said western limit of Lot 22; THENCE north 16 degrees west, along the said western l~mit of Lot 22, 450.0 feet more or less to the point of commencement.
