A BY-LAW OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF PICKERING TO PERMIT
THE CORPORATION TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT OF SALE OF CERTAIN
TOWNSHIP INDUSTRIAL LANDS TO NORDEL DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION LIMITED.
WHEREAS the Township of Picketing is the Owner of part of Lot 20,
~-~--~, Broken Front Concession in the Township of Pickering, shown
on plan attached hereto;
AND WHEREAS the Township desires to sell Lots ~ 5, 10, and 11 shown
on the said plan to "Nordel Development Corooration Limited" herein-
after called "Nordel";
THEREFORE the Municipal Council of the Corporation of the Township of
Pickerin~ ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. THAT the Township enter into an agreement with Nordel to sell
the said lands at the rate of $3~000.00 per acre, on such terms
and conditions as the Reeve and Clerk deem advisable, including
the taking back of a purchase money mortgage for part of the
purchase price, but it is to be a condition of the said agreement,
that it is to be subject to the approval of the Department of
Municipal Affairs and, if necessary, the Ontario Municipal Board.
2. THAT the Reeve and Clerk are hereby authorized to negotiate and
do all acts and execute all documents necessary to carry out the
aforesaid sale of the said lands.
BY-LAW read a First and Second time this 10th day of December, 1962.
