HomeMy WebLinkAboutBy-law 2741 BY-LAW NUMBER 2741 A BY-LAW OE THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF PICKERING TO PERMIT THE CORPORATION TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT OF SALE OF CERTAIN TOWNSHIP INDUSTRIAL LANDS TO SATOK INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENTS LIMITED. WHEREAS the Township of Pickering is the Owner of part of Lot 20, ~-~'~, Broken Front Concession in the Township of Picketing, shown on plan attached hereto; AND WHEREAS the Township desires to. sell Lots 6, 7, 12, and 13 ~hown on the said plan to "Satock Industrial Development Limited" here- inafter called "Satok"; THEREFORE the Municipal Council of the Corporation of the Township of ~lckerzng ENACTS AS FOLLOWS: 1. THAT the Township enter into an agreement with Satok to sell the said lands at the rate of $3,000.00 per acre, on such terms and conditions as the Reeve and Clerk deem advisable, including the taking back of a purchase money mortgage for part of the purchase price, but it is to be a condition of the said agreement, that it is to be subject to the approval of the Department of Municipal Affairs and, if necessary, the Ontario Municipal Board. 2. THAT the Reeve and Clerk are hereby authorized to negotiate and do all acts and execute all documents necessary to carry out the aforesaid sale of the said lands.
