HomeMy WebLinkAboutBy-law 2712 CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSNIP OF PICKERING BY LAW NUMBER A BY-LAW TO AMEND BY-LAW 1978 OF THE CORPORATION AS AMENDED BY BY-LAWS 1984 AND 2010. WHEREAS the Township of Pickering Planning Board has recommended to the Council of the Corporation that the zoning designation be changed of part of Lot 35, Broken Front, Range 2~ comprising certain Blocks of Registered Plan M-36 and certain parcels not included in Reg. Plan M-36 but which abut or lle across a street from said Blocks. NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Pickerin~ ENACTS AS FOLLOWS: 1. That Schedule 'C' to By-Law 1978 which sets out and defines certain areas designated as COMMERCIAL ZONES, BE AMENDED by adding thereto a further paragraph No. 7, as follows: 7. Ail and singular those certain parcels or tracts of land situate~ lying and being in the Township of Picketing, in the County of Ontario, and being composed of part of Lot 35, Range 2, of the said Township, said parcels being more particularly described as follows: Premising that the westerly limit of the said lot has a bearing of Nortb 16 degrees, 49 min.utes and 30 seconds west, and relating all bearings thereto: FIRSTLY Commencing at a point in the said westerly limit of Lot 35 a distance southerly therealong 2679.02 feet from the northwesterly angle of the said lot; THENCE northerly along the said westerly limit of Lot 35 a ~ce of 101.37 feet to a point; THENCE north 73°14'10'' east a distance of 223.42 feet to a point; THENCE south 16°33'20'' east a distance of 66.66 feet to a point; THENCE south 19°56~20'' east a distance of 51.16 feet to a point; THENCE westerly a distance of 226.60 feet to the point of commencement. SECONDLY - Commencing at a point in the said westerly limit of Lot 35 distant southerly therealong 2936.56 feet from the north- westerly angle of the said Lot 85; THENCE continuing southerly in and along the said westerly limit of t--~ said Lot 35 a distance of 75 feet to s point; THENCE north 77o7'40'' east a distance of 200 feet to a point; THENCE northerly and parallel to the westerly li~nit of said Lot 35 a ~-~-~tance of 75 feet; THENCE south 77o7'40'' west 200 feet to the point of Commencement. THIRDLY Ail of Blocks E, F and G - according to Registered Plan M-36. m '~hat this By-Law shall con~e into effect on the day it is passed by the Council subject to the approval of the Ontario ~Iunicipal Board.
