HomeMy WebLinkAboutBy-law 2669 Y - L A W N U M B E R ¥[~/~ B A BY-LAW OF THE TOWNSHIP OF PICKERIN~ TO AUTHORIZE CERTAIN FEES TO BE CHARGED FOR HUNTINC LICENCES. WHEREAS Section 24A of the Came and Fisheries Act provides, "The Minlstel~ may in writing authorize any Township to pass by-laws for issuing and fixing the maximum number of licences to hunt, during the open season, pheasants, rabbits and foxes and for charging such fees as he may authorize, and the Minister may fix the minimum number of such licences that the by-law shall provide BE IT THEREFORE ENACTED by the Municipal Council of the Township of Picketing that: 1. The licence fee for non-residents of the Township of Pickel~ing to hunt pheasants, rabbits and foxes in season shall be T~mee Dollars ($3.00), plus an issuing fee of 30¢ pep licence. 2. The licence fee for residents of the Township of PickePing to hunt pheasants, rabbits and foxes in season shall be $1.00 plus an. issuing fee of .05¢ pep licence. 3. There shall be not less than Two Hundred oP mope than 400 non resident licences issued each year. 4. There shall be no restriction on the number of resident licences sold. 5. Sales of all licences shall be recorded in the spaces p~ovided in the licence books, which shall be returned to the Department of Lands and Forests. 6. By-Law No. 2255 be and the same is hereby repealed. 7. This by-law shall come into force and be effective on %he day it has received approval from the Department of Game and Fishemies.
