A BY-LAW OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF PICKERING SETTt-~ APART
A TOWNSHIP SCHOOL AREA t~F THE TOWNSHIP OF PICKERING'~SC~QOL AREA

WHEREAS it is expedient that a Township School Area be set apart;
THEREFORE the Council of the Township of Picketing, pursuant to the
authorl't~ conferred by sub sectio~ 1 of section 40 of the Public
School Act R.S.0. 1960, Chapter 330, ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. The portion of the Township described in Section 2 hereof is
hereby set apart as a Township School area.
2. The said Township School Area shall consist of:
(1) Ail of School Section Number 9 containing:-
(a) all of the north half of Lot 6 in the Fifth Concession.
(b) all of Lots 7 to 16 inclusive in the Fifth Concession.
(c) all of the south halves of Lots 6 to 16 inclusive in
the Sixth Concession.
(d) the north quarter of Lot 10 and the north half of Lot 11
in the Fourth Concession.
(2) Ail of School Section Number 19 containing:
the whole of Lots 1 to $ inclusive in Concessions S and 6.
3. The Board of School Trustees of the said Township School
Area is hereby designated as'Township of Pickering School
Area Number
4. On and after the 1st day of January, 1963, the School Sections
included in the said Township School Area shall cease to exist
as separate School Sections, and the School Board having juris-
diction in such Sect£ons shall be dissolved.
5. This By-Law sh~ll take effect from the 1st day of January, 1963.
