A BY-LAW OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF PICKERING TO EXTEND
THE TIME FOR THE COURT OF REVISION TO CERTIFY THE 1961 ASSESSMENT
ROLL.
WHEREAS Section 56(9) of the Assessment Act permits any Council to
exte~the time for the Court of Revision to certify an Assessment
Roll if they believe the Court cannot complete hearings on the
Roll by November 30th in any year~ for a period up to 60 days;
BND WHEREAS this Council believe it is not possible for the Court
of Revision to complete its hearings on the 1961 Assessment Roll
by November 30, 1961;
BE IT THEREFORE ENACTED by the Municipal Council of the Township of
Plckering that the date on which the Court of Revision ~hAil certify
the 1961 Assessment Roll be extended from November 30th, 1961 to
December 29th, 1961.
