has made application to Central Mortgage and Housing Corporation
for a loan under Part NB of the National Housing Act 1954, for
the construction of sewage disposal facilities;
AND '~EP~aS it is necessa~ that the Corporation of the
Township of Picketing enter in~o and execute an agreement %.~ith
Central ~iortgage and Housing Corporation for such loan in the form
set out in Schedule "a" attached hereto;
NO,A TIi£~FOdE the Council of the Corporation of the
Township of Fickering hereby enacts as follows:
l, That the Corporation enter into and execute an agreement
with Central Mortgage and Housing Corporation for such
loan in the form set out in Schedule "A" attached hereto.
2, That the Reeve and the Clerk be and they are hereby
authorized and directed to execute the said agreement and
to affix the seal of the Corporation thereto.
3. The said Schedule "~" shall form part of this Bylaw.
4. This Bylaw is subject to the approval of the Ontario
Municipal Board

APPLICATION FOR, LOAN
Sewage Treatment Project

We, the Oo~rat~oa of the Tswl~mh~p Of PlcXer~
hereby apply for a loan cf $ 1~1.~.OO under the terms of Part VIB of the
National Housing Act, 1954 to be repaid over a term of 30 years.
We estimate the total cost of the proposed sewage treatment project to
be $22~.OO~.$O Of this estimated cost, we anticipate $ ~/~ ~ ~11 be financed
by Federal grants excluding any rebate which may be give~ with respect to this loan.
We estimate that construction will co~ence within 1 ~nths after
e~ecution of the loan agreement and also estimate that ~he project will be completed
within & months from the start of construction.
We will not require interim advances on the loan as work proceeds.
We attach the following supporting documents:
(1) plans and specifications - 3 copies
(2) detailed estfm~te of cost - 3 copies
(3) an overall plan of pollution control together with
a progra~mme and schedule to ~1,ill the plan - 3 copies
(4) provincial confirmation that the designs for the projects
are acceptable and that the project will assist in the
control of soil and water pollution - 3 certified copies
(5) reference to the date and ms_~ner in which ~HC has been
provided with one copy of the following:
I ) topographical plan of the nat~ral drainage area
evidence of trends and directions of develolm~ent
(c synopsis of municipal or regional comprehensive
plan, showing permitted uses and densities and
schedule and budget of capital works to serve
the area.
(6)approval of the appropriate provincial authority to
finance the project - 3 certified copies
(?)resolution or by-law authorizing submission of this
application- ~ certified copies.
