A BY-LAW OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF PICKF_J~XNG TO
CREATE A NE~ SCHOOL SECTION IN THE TOWNSHIP OF PICKERXNG TO
HEPLACE UNION SCHOOL SECTION NUNBER 2.
WHEREAS under By-Law No. 1814 off the Township off ~hitby, all
lands in the TovnshZp oFWhitby in Union School Section
Number 2 have been transfferred to their School Area No.
and the Council of the Tovnship off Picketing have approved
such transffer by Resolution No. /~ passed on April
1961~
AND Wm~KEAS it is necessary to create a new School Section
· n the Township off Picketing off that part off the former
Union School Section No. 2 which lies in the Township of
P~ckering;
BE IT T~E~EFOHE ENACTED by the Hunicipal Council of the
Township of Flckering:
1. THAT all of Lots 1 to § inclusive in Concessions 5
and 6 of the Township of Picketing shall comprise
one School Section and operate under a Board of
Trustees and that such School Section shall be called
School Section No. ~_. of the Township of Picketing.
2. The said School Section shall be effective on January
1962j if approved by the Hinister of Education.
