~G~ATIONS FOR ~UMBING STA~ARDS AND TO SET RES TO ~RMIT THE
INST~LATION OF ~L PLUMBING, AM TO ~PEAL BY-LAW ~ 2495.
BE IT ENACTED by the Municipal Council of the To,ship of Pickeri~,
that:
1. Pl~bing shall comply to the Re~lations under the Ontario Water
Resources Co~ission, October, 1957, respecting pl~bing.
2. The fee for pe~ission to install pl~bing shall be Three Dollars
($S.00), plus 0ne Dollar and Fifty Cents ($1.50) per fixture and
that before any plumbing is undertaken a pe~it shall be taken
out by the o~er or contractor on behalf of the o~er from the
Works Department of the To~sh~ and such pe~it posted in a
conspicuous place in the building.
3. Without prejudice to the operation of any other law, it s~ll
be the duty of the Township Engineer or his assistants appointed
by the Municipal Council %o take the necessary measure to institute
proceedings against any person who contravenes any of the provisions
of this By-Law.
4. Everyone who oontravenes any of the provisions of this By-Law or any
requirements or obligations imposed on him by virtue of this By-Law,
or who interferes with or obst~cts any person in the discharge of
his duties under this By-Law, shall be guilty of an offence and
liable, on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding Three Hundred
Dollars ($300.00) and costs.
5. That By-Law N~ber 255 be and the s~e is hereby repealed.
