P:{OVIDING FOR THE E~ECTICN OF STOP SIGNS
AT INTERSECTIONS
WHEREAS sect:ion 4id of the tHghway Traffic Act (R.S.O. ]950
Chapter ]67 and amendments thereto) provides lhat the council
()~ a m~nicipa]Jty and the trustees of a police vJ]]~ge may by by-]aw
approved by the Departmeni provide f'or the erectirm of stop signs
at intersections on highways nrMer :its jurJs(Hction;
AND WIIE[~EAS subsection 3 o~ section 4] o~ the Act provides that:

1. The intersections on highways under the jurisdiction of
the Municipality of the Township
