A BY-LAW OF THE CORPORATION OF 'r~ TOWNSHIP OF PICKERING TO PROVIDE
FOR SEPARATE BALLOTS FOR VOTING FOR REEVE AND DEPUTY-REEVE AND
COUNCILLORS.
WHEREAS Picketing Township have a Ward System and persons owning or
leasing lands in more than one Ward are entitled to vote for a
Councillor in each Ward where they own or lease lands;
AND WHEREA~ Section 94, sub section 5, of the Municipal Act hermits
Cotmcils of Townships to pass by-laws for separate ballots for
Reeve and Deputy-Reeve and Councillors;
BE IT THEREFORE ENACTED by the Municipal Council of the Township of
Picketing that the Clerk o£ the Township of Picketing be and he is
hereby authorized to prepare for each Municipal Election, one ballot
for Reeve and Deputy-Reeve, and one ballot for Councillors in each
Ward.
