A BY-LAW OF THE TOWNStlIP OF PICK~{ING TO APPOINT A HEAD OF THE DEPARTMENT
OF BY-LAW ENFORCE~i~NTo
~{EREAS the Public Itelations Committee at their meeting held February 11,
1960, recommended that ~iro Harry Ashton be named as Head of the Department
o£ By-Law Enforcement;
B.~ IT THE~FOI{E ENACTED by the ~Iunicipal ~ouncil of the Township of
Picke ring THAT
1. Harry Ashton be appointed to the office of Head of the Department
of By-Law Enforcement, and that his duties shall be those set out
in By-Law Number 2473, Schedule "I".
2. THAT the salary of the said Head of the Department of By-Law
Enforcement shall be Three Thousand Six Hundred Dollars (~3,~00.00)
per annum as set out in By-Law Number 2475, plus mileage for the
use of his car, necessarily travelled on Township business as set
out in resolution covering same.
3. TtIAT Mr. Ashton shall commence his duties on the / ~ day of
x~ Y~2 1960.
