HomeMy WebLinkAboutBy-law 2438BY - LAW N UMBER 7?f3J A BY-LAW OF THE TOWNSHIP OF PICKERING TO NAME A DATE, HOUR AND PLACE FOR RECEIVING NOMINATIONS AND THE TAKING OF VOTES FOR ELECTIONS OF COUNCIL MEMBERS FOR YEAR 1960 AND ELECTING TRUSTEES FOR THE SCHOOL AREAS. The Municipal Council of the Township of Pickering ENACTS AS FOLLOWS: 1. That the place for receiving Nominations for the offices of Reeve, Deputy Reeve and five Councillors for the Towns; the year 1960 and Trustees for School Areas One the Township Hall in the Village of Brougham on the month of November, and that the hour during shall be received shall commence at six o'clock hour of seven o'clock in the evening. ,iip of Pickering for and Two shall be in the last Friday in which such nominations p. M. and end at the 2. Should an election be necessary for any or all such offices, a poll of the electors will he held on the Second Saturday following the Nomination meeting, and the location of the polling places for such election will be named in another By-law. The hours during which such polls will be open will be between the hours of _t?m- 'clock A. M. and 94x- o'clock P. M.. 3. That By-law 2258 be and the same is hereby repealed.
