11I!: IT FNAMD by the 'fuiiicipa.l C01-111cil of the Township of Pickering:
1. Tit this By-law:-
"Person" means and includes any individual., firm, corporation,
partnership or any cor-lbinatioie thereof.
"Ltigltway" means a common and public highway and shall include
a street and 'a bridgo forming part of a hi.-hway or ott, over or
across which a hijhway passes.
10. No person shall sell- or offer for sale at retail in the Tocntsltip
of Pickerin.g, fireworks of any ]rind or description, on ally day
or days during the calendar year except or: the ten days inune(liately
preceding the 24th of :Lay or the ten days immediately preceding
the date set by Statute for the observance of Victoria Day, or
tLe ten days immediately precediu.- the date set for the observance
of Dominion Day.
3. No person shall- sell or offer for sale in the Tomiship of Pickoritn
fireworks of any kind or rtescription, at any time or times, to any
person apparently under the a;e of 12 years.
1. No person selling or proposi_n* to sell fireworks it the Township
of Pickering at retail, shall exhibit, any display of such fireworks
it, any display windnw or otherwise with the excepi,ion of i-mitat.i_ol!s
thereof, provided these contain no explosi.vrs or chericals of any
kind wlatsoever.
6. 2xeopt as hereit in this By-law expressly provided no person s',all
fire or set off fireworks in the Township of Pickering except oi,
the 24th of "Tay or ot, the date set by Statute for t11e observai-ce
,of Victoria -Day or the day set. by Statute for the ohservaree of
Dor;inioh Day, and then only nn his ot,nl property.

fireworks by the person and at Mho tide a,i.l place therein speci-
fied. Such permit r_ay define the type and kind of fireworks to
be set off, tlie methods to be taken to ensure the safety of
spectators turd the public au:l shall provide that all fircworl;.s to
be set off under the said. permit shall be under the snpcrvisi.n;.

7. No person shall fire or set, off any fireworks at any tin.,- taii,'tin
