A BY-LAW OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF PICKERING CONCERNING
THE DESIRABILITY OF A SIX INCH (61t) WATERMAIN ON ISLAND ROAD EAST
OF ROUGE HILLS DRIVE.
WHEREAS the Municipal Council of the Corporation of the Township of
Pickering, by a two-thirds majority, deems it desirable that the
construction of a watermain in the said Township, as hereinafter
set out, be undertaken as a local improvement under the provisions
of Section 8 of the Local Improvement Act, R.S.O. 1950, Chapter
215, as amended;
NOW THEREFORE the Municipal Council of the Corporation of the Township
of Pickering ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. THAT it is desirable that the construction of a six inch (61f)
watermain along Island Road from Rouge Hills Drive to a point
approximately 140 feel west of Rivercourt Drive, at a total
estimated cost of -2 Sr 6 c
with an estimated lifetime of twenty-one years, be undertaken
as a local improvement under The Local Improvement Act, R.S.O.
1950, Chapter 215, as amended.
2. THAT By-Laws Numbers 2375 and 2381 be and the same are hereby
repealed.
