A BY-LAW OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF PICKERING CONCERNING THE
DESIRABILITY OF A TWELVE INCH (12") WATERMAIN ON ISLAND ROAD EAST OF
ROUGE HILLS DRIVE.
WHEREAS the Municipal Council of the Corporation of the Township of
Pickering, by a two-thirds majority deems it desirable that the con-
1 _?'struction of a watermain in the said Township, as hereinafter set out,
r be undertaken as a local improvement under the provisions of Section 8
of the local Improvement Act, R.S.O. 1950, Chapter 215, as amended;
NOW THEREFORE the Municipal Council of the Corporation of the Township
of Pickering enacts as follows:
1. THAT it is desirable that the construction of a twelve inch (12"
watermain along Island Road from Rouge Hills Drive to a point
approximately 140 feet west of Rivercourt Drive, at a total
estimated cost of Forty Six Hundred and Ten Dollars ($4610.00)
with an estimated lifetime of twenty-one years, be undertaken as
a local improvement under The Local Improvement Act, R.S.O. 1950
Chapter 215, as amended.
2. THAT By-Law Number 2375 be and the same is hereby repealed.
