LOADS TO BE CARRIED ON VEHICLES.
W1,11EAS subsection R of section 36 of the highway Traffic Act (h.S.O.
1950, Chapter 167) provides that:-
The municipal corporation or other authority having
jurisdiction over any highway, may declare the
provisions of subsections 4, 5 and 6 to extend and
apply to Iiimhways under its jurisdiction during any
period of the year;
AND WHEREAS restriction of loads is deemed necessary for the
protection of highways in tine Municipality of the Township of
Pickering at periods of the year other than during the months of
`;arch and April;
NO[J TiiLl{H.FOME the Council of the Corporation of tile '.Ainicipality
of the Township of Pickering ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. Tide provisions of subsections 4, 5 and 6 of section 36 of
The Ri?;hway Traffic Act (F..S.O. 1050, Chapter 167) shall
extend and apply to the hloghways named hereunder during
