A BY-LA~q OF THE TOWNSHIP OF PICKERING TO LAY OUT AND USE AS A PUBLIC ROAD
A CERTAIN NEW ROAD IN T}~ NO,IH ~!ALF OF LOTS 17 AND 18, CONCESSION 3.
~{EREAS the Fourth Concession Line through Lot 18 and part of Lot 17 is
unopened and many years ago a road was opened over the Canadian Pacific
Railway tracks and through part Lot 17 and all Lot 18 to be used in lieu
of such ~lopened road;
AND ~{EREAS this road is narrow, winding and has a bad crossing over the
Canadian Pacific Railway tracks;
AND ~[EREAS By-Law Number 2348 passed November 3, 1958, closed the easterly
portion of the road in lieu of surveyed road and same is now awaiting
approval of the County Council;
BE IT TItEREFOREENACT~D By the Mm%icipal Council of the Township of Picketing
that the following described lands be and they are hereby declared a Township
road to be used as a public highway in lieu of the unopened Fourth Concession
Line in Lots 17 oand 18.
ALL AND SINGULAR that certain parcel or tract of land and premises situate,
lying and being in the Township of Picketing and County of Ontario and being
composed of parts of Lots 17 and 18 in the third Concession of the said
Township which said parcel is more particularly described as follows:
PILE~ISING that the bearing of the west limit of the said Lot 18 is N 17° 27'
20" W and relating all bearings used herein thereto;
COmmENCING at a point in the west limit of the said Lot 18 distant southerly
therein 643.47 feet From the northwest angle of the said LOt 18;
TI[ENCE N 75o 39~ 10" E along a fence a distance of 672.48 feet;
THENCE N 69° 081 30" E a distance of 527.03 Feet to a point of tangency;
TI{~CE on a circular curve to the left having a radius of 654.99 feet, a
chord distance of 401.0 feet on a chord bearing of N 51° 19~ E, to a point
of tangency;
~ENCE N 33° 29~ 30" E a distance of 582.02 Feet to a point of tangency;
TItENCE on a circular curve to the right having a radius of 512.82 Feet to
a point of tangency with the north limit of the said Lot 17, a chord dist-
a,nce of 345.06 Feet;
THENCE S 72° 48' 40" W along the north limit of the said Lot 17 to a point
of intersection with a circular curve having the same centre as the last
mentioned curve and a radius of 578.82 feet, a ~istance of 268.41 feet
more or less;
THENCE southerly along said circular curve to the left a chord distance of
117.91 feet measured on a chord he,ring of S 39° 20' 15" W to a point of
t~u~ency;
THENCE S 33° 29' 30" W a distance of 582.02 Feet to a point of tangency;
THENCE on a circular curve to the right having a radius of 588.99 Feet,
a chord distance of 360.59 Feet measured on a chord bearing of S 51° 19' W
to a point of tangency;
THENCE S 69° 08~ 30" W a distance of 523.27 Feet;
TtIENCE S 75° 39~ lC" W to a point in the west limit of the said Lot 18
distant northerly therein 66.10 Feet from the said Point of Commencement
a distance of 672.30 Feet;
THENCE S 17° 27' 20" E along said west limit of LOt 18 a distance of
66.10 feet to the Point of Con~encement.
