A BY-lAW OF THE CORPORATION OF THE T0~NSltlP OF PICKERING TO AUTHORIZE
T~E PURCHASE OF THREE AND ONE HALF (3~) ACRES IN EAST WOODLANDS FOR A
PARK UNDER THE T0~SHIP OF PICKERING RECREATION C0MMITTEE~ AND TO
APPOINT CERTAIN MEMBERS TO SIT ON A BOARD TO ADMINISTER.
klfEREAS the . ._ Rouge Hills L~ons
Club have(3~) acres of land in
agreed to purchase three and one half
Plan 346, parts of Lots 83 and 84 (unregistered) for the sum of Six
Thousand, Seven Hundred Dollars (~6,700.00) and have raised Five Thousand
Seven Hundred Dollars (~5,700.00) towards the project;
~qD ~tEREAS the Corporation of the Township of Picketing have agreed to
donate One Thousand Dollars (~1,000.00) towards the purchase of said
Park providing that the deed is registered in the name of the Corporation
of the Township off Picketing;
BE IT T.HEREFORE ENACTED by the ~unicipal Council of the Township of
Picketing that:
1. The Treasurer and Clerk are hereby authorized to issue a Township
cheque for One Thousa~nd Dollars ($1,000.00) towards payment of
! , three and one half (3~) acres in Plan 346, parts of unregistered
Lots 83 and 84~ providing a deed to such land is received, made out
to the Corporation of the Township of Picketing.
2. The local oomittee to operate said Park under the direction of the
Township of l~ckering Recreation Committee be as follows:
