A BY-LAW OF THE T0~NSHIP OF PICKEHING TO LEVY A SPECIAL HATE ON THE
TAXABLE PROPERTY IN THE POLICE VILLAGE OF CIAREHONT, TO DEFRAY THE
COST OF STREET LIGHTS AND OTHER SPECIAL PURPOSES IN THE SAID VILLAGE
FOR THE YEAR 1958.
h~IEHEAS the Trustees of the Police Village of Claremont have requested
the levy of a special rate of 2.4 ~Lills on the Dollar upon all the
rateable property in the said Village to defray the cost of maintaining
street lights, and to meet the costs of other sundry Village requirements,
during the year 1958;
AND ~]tEREAS the total taxable property in the said Police Village is
the sum of $ 404,563.52;
BE IT THEREFORE E~ACTED by the Hunicipal Council of the Township of
Picketing:-
THAT there be raised, levied and collected from and upon all the
rateable property in the Police Village of Claremont, in the year 1958,
the rate or sum of 2.4 Hills on the Dollar, amounting to the sum of /'
$ 97~7~5 for the aforesaid purposes of the said Police Village of
Claremont in the said year.
BY-LAW read a first and second time this /~ day of' ~ 1958.
BY-LAW read a third time and PASSED this /~ay of ~1958.
