A HOUSE TO OBTAIN FROM TIlE TOWNSHIP ENGINEER A LEVEL TO WIIICH SUCH

BE IT ENACTED by the Municipal Council of the To,reship of Pickering
that,:
1. From the date of the passing of this By-Law, no person may build
a ~welling orplaee of business in the Township of Pickering without
first obtainin~ From the To.ship ~gJneer the proper level to
Which the building must he built.
2. The Township Engineer at the request of the applicant, shall give
such levels and shall charge a fee o~ Tam Dollars (~9.aO) for each
level so given anq such fee shall be turned over to the Treasurer
of the Corporation and deposite~ to the credit of the Corporation.
3. Any person who contravenes this By-Law shall be guilty of an offence
and shall be liable to a penalty of not more than ~50.00 exclusive
of costs.
