THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF PICKERING
Being a by-law for the purpose of expropriating
an easement which is required for the drainage of
a portion of the Liverpool Road in the Township
of Pickering.
WHEREAS for the purpose of draining a certain portion of
the Liverpool Road in the Township of Piekering? the Council
of the Corporation of the Township of Pickering deems it
necessary to construct a drain or drainage ditch across the
land more particularly described in Schedule "A" to this
by-law;
AND WHEREAS for or in connection with the construction
of said drain or drainage ditch it is necessary to expropriate
an easement over the land as described in said Schedule "A";
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ENACTED AND IT IS HEREBY ENACTED as a
by-law of the Corporation of the Township of Pickering by the
Council thereof as follows:
1. An easement is hereby expropriated in and over the land
more particularly described in Schedule "A" to this by-law
for the purpose of constructing and maintaining a drain or
drainage ditch ins under, and upon the said lands and for
that purpose the right is also expropriated to enter upon the
said land at all times and to pass and repass thereon with
all necessary men and equipment to construct, install and
maintain said drain or drainage ditch, and all necessary
pipes that nay be required.

SCHEDULE "A"

BY-LAW NUMBER

All and Singular that certain parcel or tract of land
and premises situate, lying and being in Lot Number 23,
Concession 1, in the Township of Pickering, in the County
of Ontario and being composed of a strip of land 20 feet
in perpendicular width adjacent to and immediately South
of a line which may be described as follows:-
COMMENCING at a standard iron bar in the East limit
of the said Lot Number 23 being also the West limit of the
Liverpool Road distant 1,308.75 feet measured North 17010t
West along the said East limit from the South East angle of
the said Lot Number 23.
THENCE South 75022t5'' West a distance of 833.23 feet
more or less to a point in a fence,
AND CONTINUING South 75022t5" West a further distance
of 10 feet more or less to a point in the centre line of a
creek.
