A BY-LAW OF THE TOWNSHIP OF PICKERING TO AUTHORIZE FEES TO BE CHARGED
FOR HUNTING LICENSE:
WHEREAS Section 24A of the Game and Fisheries Act-itw provides "The
Minister may in writing authorize any Township to pass by-laws for
issuing and fixing the maximum number of licenses to hunt, during
the open season, pheasants, rabbits and C#ses and for charging such
fees as he may authorize, and the Minister may fix the minimum number
of such licenses that the by-law shall provide for.
BE IT THEREFORE ENACTED by the Municipal Council of the Township of
Pickering THAT
1. The license fee for non-residents of the Townshiptof Pickering
to hunt ?heasants, rabbits and foxes in season shall be Three
Dollars N3.00). , ?-
2. The license fee for residents of the Township of Pi fin to d
hunt pheasants, rabbits and foxes in season shall

3. There shall be not less than Two Hundred or more than/.
non-resident licenses issued each year.
4. There shall be no restriction on the number of resident licenses
sold.
5. Sales of all licenses shallbe recorded in the spaces provided in
the license books, which shall be returned to the Department of - 47
Lands and Forests. ,y
