THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF PICKERING
Being a by-law to amend By-Law Number 2097 and to repeal By-law Number
2219.
BE IT ENACTED AND IT IS HEREBY ENACTED as a by-law
of The Corporation of the Township of Pickering by the Council thereof
as follows:
1. Section 7 of By-law Number 2097 is hereby amended by adding
thereto the following:
which said property as described in Schedule "B"
attached hereto is hereby designated as Water Area
Number 1.
so that the section shall read as follows:
A portion of the cost of the work, including Debenture
charges, and the cost of the maintenance and managing
of the work, including the cost of the utilities
r? supplied may, if necessary, be assessed and levied on
the rateable property described in Schedule "B" attached
hereto, which said property as described in Schedule "B"
attached hereto is hereby designated as Water Area Number
1.
2. By-law Number 2097 is hereby amended by adding thereto as
section 9 thereof the following:
That portion of the cost of the work that would otherwise
be the Corporation's share shall be assessed and levied

on the rateable property described in Schedule "B" attached
hereto, Provided> however> that if any Portion of said
share is recovered from any source, such levy shall be
reduced accordingly.

3. By-law Number 2219 is hereby repealed.
BY-LAW read a first time this 25th day of March, 1957

BY-LAW read a third time and finally passed this-1 day of
1957.
