A BY-LAW OF THE TOWNSHIP OF PICKERING TO APPOINT A MEDICAL OFFICER
OF HEALTH FOR THE TOWNSHIP OF PICKERING.
WHEREAS Dr. N. F. Tomlinson has reached threescore years and ten;
AND WHEREAS it is expected that the Pickering Township, Pickering
Village and Ajax Health Unit will be operating in several months;
BE IT THEREFORE ENACTED by the Municipal Council of the Township
of Pickering that:
1. Dr. N. F. Tomlinson be and he is hereby appointed Medical
Officer of Health of the Township of Pickering;
2. That the salary of the said Medical Officer of Health shall
be at the rate of $ L J S- D per year;
3. That the duties of the said Medical Officer of Health
shall be as prescribed under the Department of Health Act.
