A BY-LAW OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF THE TOWNSHIP OF PICKERING TO APPOINT
A SECRETARY FOR THE WEST ROUGE WATERWORKS AREA NUMBER 1.
BE IT ENACTED by the Municipal Council of the Township of Pickering
that:
be and he is hereby appointed Secretary
of'WestRouge Waterw ks Area Number 1, commencing as of January
1, 1956.
The duties of the said Secretary shall be to secure water contracts
with all users, bill and collect all rates and in general see that
By-Law Number is enforced.
The Secretary shall open up an account in the name of the Corporation
of the Township of Pickering in such of the Chartered Banks of
Canada or at such other place of deposit as may be approved by
the Council and he shall deposit to the credit of such account
all money received by him on account of the said waterworks area,
entirely separate from the money of the Corporation.
The said Secretary shall on or before February 1st in each year
submit to the Council a statement showing all the assets and
liabilities of Water Area No. 11 and shall do all things required
of him by Council pertaining to the Waterworks system.
