A BY-LAW OF THE TOWNSHIP OF PICKF&ING TO ALTER THE BOUNDARIES OF SCHOOL
SECTION NO. 2 AND UNION SCHOOL SECTION NO. 4 WEST
4 WHEREAS the Township Council propose to declare a School Area comprising
the south-west part of the Township and it is desirable that there be
clear cut boundaries and that each child may attend its nearest school;
AND WHEREAS the Council of the Village of Pickering have agreed by
resolution to exchange those lands which lie west of the Brock Road in
Union School Section 4 West for those lands which lie east of the Brock
Rpad and are now in School Section No. 2 north from the southerly limit
of the C. N. R. right-of-way;
BE IT THEREFORE EN CTED by the Municipal Council of the Township of
Pickering that:
9J 1. Those lands now assessed in School Section No. 2 which lie in
Lots 17, 18, Concession 10 between the south limit of the C.N.R.
and the north limit of Highway No. 2 be transferred from School
Section No. 2 to Union School Section No. 4 West.
2. Those lands which lie in the south halves of Lots 19, 20, 21 and
south-east half of Lot 22 in the Second Concession now assessed
as part of Union School Section No. 4 West be transferred to
School Section No. 2.
7-i.3. The effective date of this By-Law shall be December 250 1955.

of Education.
