A BY-LAW OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF PICKERING SETTING APART A
TOWNSHIP SCHOOL AREA OF PART OF THE TOWNSHIP OF PICKERING TO BE KNOWN AS
SCHOOL AREA NO. 2.
WHEREAS it is expedient that a Township School Area be set apart in the
south-west part of the Township;
THEREFORE the Council of the Township of Pickering, pursuant to the
authority conferred by subsection 1 of Section 15 of the Public Schools
Act, R.S.O. 1950, Chapter 316, ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. The portion of the Township described in Section 2 hereof is hereby
set apart as a Township School Area.
12. The said Township School Area shall consist of
(1) All of School Section No. 2 containing:
(a) All Lots 15 to 23 inclusive in Concession Broken Front
Range Two.
(b) All lots 15 to 23 inclusive in Concession Broken Front '
Range Three.
(c) All south half of Lots 16-17-18 in Concession One south
of the C. N. R. right-of-way.
(d) All Lots 19 to 22 inclusive in Concession One.

(e) A44 the south halves of Lots 19-20-21 and south east''The north part
quarter of Lot 22 in Concession Twa. of the south half of LLt 17 in
n. 1, north of the south limit of the C.N.R. right-of-way; and all of Lot 18, Con. 1
(f) All north half of Lot 23 in Concession Two. between the south limit
of the C.N.R. right-of.
(2) All of School Section Number 3 East, containing: way and No. 2 Highway.
(a) All Lots 24 to 29 inclusive in Concession Broken Front
Range Two.
(b) All Lots 24 to 29 inclusive in Concession Broken Front
Range Three.
(c) All Lots 23 to 29 inclusive in Concession 1.
(d) South half of Lot 230 Concession Two.
(e) All of Lot 24, Concession Two.
(3) All of School Section Number 3 West containing:
(a) All of Lots 30 to 35 inclusive north of the Rouge River
in Concession Broken Front Range Two - Broken Front Range
Three - Concession One.
(4) That part of School Section No. 6 which lies in the north halves
of Lots 20, 21, 22 in the Second Concession.
(5) That part of School Section No. 7, which lies in the south halves
of Lots 25 and 26 in the Second Concession.
(6) All lands West and South of Rouge River in Township of Pickering,
being parts of Lots 31 to 35 inclusive in Broken Front, Range
1-2-3h being the whole of School Section No. 18.
That part of,chool Section Union 4 West which lies in the south halves of Lots it

hereby designated as "Township of Pickering School Area Number 2"41 south east ;

4. On and after the 25th day of December, 1955, the School Sections ?.J E:
included in the said Township School Area shall cease to exist
as separate school sections, and the School Board having juris-
diction in such sections shall be dissolved.
5. This By-Law shall take effect from the 25th day of December, 1955.
