A BY-LAW TO ASSESS THE SEVERAL PUBLIC SCHOOL SECTIONS AND UNION PUBLIC
SCHOOL SECTIONS IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF THE TOWNSHIP OF PICKER NGO TO
PROVIDE FUNDS FOR THE PURPOSES OF THE SAID SCHOOL SECTIONSO IN THE
YEAR 1955.
REAS the School Boards of the several Public School Sections and
Union Public School Sections in the Municipality of the Township of
Pickering have made requisition to the Council of the said Township
for the amounts named respectively in Column 3 of Schedule "A" to
this By-Law for the use of the said Boards in paying Teachers' salaries
and defraying other expenses of the Schools respectively in the current
year;
AND WHEREAS the respective amounts required by the aforesaid requis-
itions as entered in Column 4 of the said Schedule "A" will have to
be raised, levied and collected from and upon all the rateable property
in the said Public School Sections respectively;
BE IT _THEREFORE ENACTED by the Municipal Council of the Corporation of
the Township of Pickering:
1. THAT there be raised, levied and collected from and upon all
ffj rateable property in each of the Public School Sections of the
Township of Pickering in the year 1955, such a rate in each of
the School sections as will be sufficient to raise the amount
entered in Column 4 of the said Schedule opposite the number
of each such School Section respectively.
