A BY-LAW OF THE TOWNSHIP OF PICKERING TO APPOINT MEMBERS TO TAE
TOWNSHIP OF PICKERING PLANNING BOARD AND TO REPEAL BY-LAW _NMTBER 2070.
r WHEREAS since 1948 the Township of Pickering have been members of the
Pickering-Whitby Townships Joint Planning Board;
AND WI'RFAS due to increased work, Council, by resolution, asked that
the Joint Planning Board be dissolved in favour of a local Board, and
the Department of Planning and Development have given their approval
dated February 24, 1955;
BE IT TIII,REFORE ENACTED by the Municipal Council of the Township of
Pickering:
1. THAT the following named persons be an4 they are hereby appointed
members of the Pickering Township Planning Board:
(1) Jack Hambleton - appointed to December 31, 1957
(2) Ralph Mowbray - appointed to December 31, 1957
(3) Kenneth Clark - appointed to December 31, 1956
(4) A. E. Calvert - appointed to December 31, 1956
(5) M. Vaughan Willard - appointed to December 31, 1955
(6) F. Routley - appointed to December 31, 1955
(7) Milton Pegg (alternate, Wells Ritchie) - appointed to
December 31, 1955.
(8) J. S. Scott - appointed to December 31, 1955 (From Council)
(9) George T. Todd - appointed to December 31, 1955 (Reeve)
and ixntil their successors are appointed.
w 2. THAT By-Law Number 2070 be and the same is hereby repealed.
