A BY-LAW TO APPOINT POUND-KEEPERS AND FENCEVIEWERS FOR THE MUNICIPALt Y
OF THE TOWNSHIP OF
FOR THE YEAR 1955.
The Municipal Council of the Township of Pickering ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the following named persons be and they are hereby appointed
Pound-Keepers for the Municipality of the Township of Pickering
for the year 19550 that is to say:
Fred A. Major

Archie Bell
Allen Myers
William Middleton
Elmer Annis
John Baxter
Lorne Jones
Robert W. Balsdon
A. Bunker
Alfred Michell
Williard Collins
W. E. Bryant
Burnett Jamieson
P. Wellman
Mervin Annis
Carl Rogers
2. That the following named persons be and they are hereby appointed
Fenceviewers of the Municipality of the Township of Pickering for the
year 1955, that is to say:
Mel Bryant Lewis Jones W. H. Carson
F. Puckrin Percy Neale Leonard Gates
J. 0. Spang W. B. Milne Howard E. Turner
3. That the Pound-Keepers and Fenceviewers appointed hereunder shall
continue to hold office as such respectively after the expiration
of the year 1955 until such time as their successors shall have been
appointed in the year 1956. The fee for each fenceviewing inspection
shall be $ and__ /(,---cents per mile mileage one way.
