A By-law of the Municipality of the TOWNSHIP OF PICHERING to open, as
a Public Highway, part of Lot 26 in Concession 1 of the Township of
Pickering.
NOW THEREFORE, the Corporation of the Township of Pickering having
instructed Messrs. Horton, Carr & Haynes, Ontario Land Surveyors,
to survey and layout the proposed new road allowance in Lot 26
Concession 1 of the aforesaid Township, BE IT ENACTED by the Municipal
Council of the Township of Pickering ;-
1. ALL AND SINGULAR that certain parcel or tract of land and
premises situate, lying and being in the Township of Pickering,
in the County of Ontario and Province of Ontario, and being
composed of part of Lot 26, Concession 1 in the said Township,
containing by admeasurement 0.099 acres be the same more or
less, which said parcel of land is more particularly described
as follows ;
PREMISING that the bearing of the south limit of said Lot 26
is N 720 54, E and relating all bearings herein thereto;
COMMENCING at a point in the south limit of said Lot 26,
distant 752.15 feet measured Easterly therealong from the
south west angle of said Lot 26;
THENCE continuing N 720 54' E along the said south limit,
68.91 feet to a point therein;
THENCE N 330 481 W, 75.19 feet more or less to a point in
the south limit of Provincial Highway #2 as widened by
deposited plan #31 (Highways) for the County of Ontario.
THENCE S 560 051 30" W along the said south limit of
Provincial Highway #2, 66.00 feet to a point therein;
THENCE S 330 481 E, 55.24 feet more or less to the POINT
of COMMENCEMENT;
be dedicated as a Township Road.
BY-LAW read a first and second time this 6-a day of
