HomeMy WebLinkAboutBy-law 2025B Y- L A W N U M B E R 2 0 2 5 A BY-LAW OF THE MUNICIPAL CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF PICKERING TO PROVIDE FOR PARKING FINES TO BE PAID AT POLICE OFFICE. ?. WHEREAS Council by By-Law have set out certain areas in the Township of G Pickering where parking is illegal; AND WHEREAS in order to save time, it is deemed advisable that owners s ould be able to pay any fines direct to the Police Office; BE IT THEREFORE ENACTED by the Municipal Corporation of the Township of Pickering that: Q 1. The fine for a violation of parking in restricted zones in t e { Township of Pickering shall be $ 'T. °v if paid within of the violation of such By-Law. 2. The Police Department shall keep receipt books consecutively numbered commencing at "1" and shall have an original and three h? copies, the original for the "offending vehicle", first copy for Police Department records, second copy for person paying fine, and third copy for the Township Treasurer. 3. The Police Department shall keep a proper cash book and remit to the Township Treasurer immediately after the end of each month such fines as it may have collected during the previous month.
