A BY-LAW OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF' THE TOWNSHIP OF PICKERING TO ASSESS
THE TOWNSHIP FOR POLICE RATES IN THE YEAR 1954.
WHEREAS the assessment of Police Area No. 1 is 4,765,654.45, the
Ylj•Police Commission have recommended a budget of 4$,602.60, but
Council have approved of $ 32,406.45, plus One Neill of 54,765.65
for capital account to build a Police Station,to be levied in years
1954, 1955 and 1956;
AND WHEREAS the assessment of Police Area No. 2 is $ 3,8522898.32
and it requires the sum of 4 775.00 to enforce local By-Laws;
BE IT THEREFORE ENACTED by the Municipal Council of the Township of
Pickering:

THAT there be levied, raised and collected from all the rateable

which will amount to the sum of $ 770.57.
