UPON THE APPLICATION of the Corporation of the Township of Pickering and the Board having, pursuant to appointment, and notice of hearing having been given in accordance with the directions of the Board, conducted a public hearing at the Municipal Offices for the Township of Pickering at Brougham, Ontario, of an application for consideration and approval of By-law Number 2006 and this said application having come on for hearing on the dth day of June, A.D. 19540 in the presence of counsel for the Corporation and interested property owners and upon completion of the evidence adduced and the arguments of courssel and the Board having reserved its decision in order to permit the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Pickering to amend the said proposed by-law and such amending By-law Number 2020 having been duly passed an the 14th day of June, A.U. 1954, and a certified copy thereof having been duly filed with the Board and the Beard having directed that there should be so further hear. PASe-i *1C A IM x. B Y- L A W N U M B E R 2 0 0 6 A BY-LAW OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF PICKERING TO AMEND BY-LAW NUMBER 1787. IS follows: as a By-Law of ncil thereof as 1. THAT By-Law Number 17$7 be amended by striking out Section 1 thereof and substituting therefor the following Section 1, which shall read as follows: Section 1. No person sl hereafter within the Township of Pickering erect, /! L•??? u?? any dwelling house or summer cottage, if, of one storey in h ight, having a ground floor area of less than nine hundred and sixty (960) square feet and, if, of one storey and one half in height, having a ground floor area of less than seven Y hundred and fifty square feet (750), and, if of two stories in height or more having a ground floor area f less than six hundred and fifty (650} square feef(f'or- -e rcy?, and in each instance the floor area shall be measured within the outside walls or outside finished furred partitions thereof and shall not include garages, either attached or otherwise, porches, terraces, breezeways or any other appurtenant structure or lean-to which is not an integral part of the main habitable structure. , Section 1 (b) r No person sh 3;1 hereafter, within the Township of Pickering, erect, !vy gaffer-ox?)any dwelling house or summer cottage, without providing inside plum ing therefor, complete with a three piece bathroom set. 2. That By-Law Number 1787 be further amended by striking out Subsection (b) of Section 2 and substituting therefor the following Subsection (b) which shall read as follows: ?. ?. Section 2 fib) Trailers and overnight cabins shall not be permitted hereafter in the Township of Pickering. 3. This amending By-Law shall take effect from and after its approval by the Ontario Municipal Board and the issue of its formal order therefor.
