HomeMy WebLinkAboutBy-law 1988B Y- L A W N U M B E R 1 9 8 8, A BY-LAW OF THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE TOWNSHIP OF PICKERING TO REPEAL BY-LAW NUMBER 1869. ??- WHEREAS By-Law Number 1869 provided for a yearly remuneration of Five Hundred Dollars (500.00) for the Reeve and Three Hundred Dollars (300.00) for the Deputy-Reeve and Councillors; kAND WHEREAS it is the wish of Council that payment of their remuneration be as set out in Section 417 of Chapter 243, 1950, and revised by Section 22 of Chapter 63, 1952 Amendments; BE IT THEREFORE ENACTED by the Municipal Council of the Township of Pickering that: s?-1. The remuneration of the Reeve shall be lZ?-9 - f-G per annum. 2. The remuneration of the Deputy-Reeve and three Councillors shall be Ten Dollars ($10.00) per day for attendance at meetings of Council or of its Committees. Fib NY ? Env/J' si'-1, ?J 3r(-3. By-Law Number 1869 be and it is hereby repealed. 5. This By-Law shall come into force as of January 1, 1954, on approval of the Department of Municipal Affairs.
