A BY-LAW OF THE TOWNSHIP OF PICKERING TO AMEND BY-LAW NUMBER 1965.
WHEREAS the rates of interest have dropped during the past few

months, so that Debentures carrying 4j% are now expected to bring
par;
AND WHEREAS the $ 16,000.00 Debentures under By-Law Number 1965
have not been sold;
BE IT THEREFORE ENACTED by the Municipal Council of the Township of
Pickering:
,1/ 1. THAT that part of Clause 1 reading "each debenture shall bear
interest at the rate of Five Per Bent per annum, payable annually,
and shall have coupons attached thereto for the payment of such
interest" be changed to read "Each Debenture shall bear interest
at the rate of Four and Three-Quarter Per Cent (44%) per annum,
payable annually, and shall have coupons attached thereto for the
payment of such interest", and Schedule "A" computed at such rate.
