A BY-LAW OF' THE MUNICIPAL CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF PICKERING
TO RESTRICT THE SPEED OF VEHICLES IN PICKERING BEACH SUBDIVISION AND
TO PROHIBIT PARKING IN CERTAIN AREAS OF PICKERING BEACH SUBDIVISION.
®, ` . WHEREAS the subdivision of Pickering Beach is a built-up area, and
?( may be designated as such under the Highway Traffic Act:
BE IT THEREFORE ENACTED by the Municipal Corporation of the Township
of Pickering:
1. That the Speed Limit on all Township roads in the subdivision of
Pickering Beach, Plan 250, 285, 372, 3$0 and 392, be limited to
a maximum of thirty miles per hour.
2. Parking of all vehicles on road allowances between Lake Ontario
and points 400 feet north, is prohibited between Township Lots
4- 5and6-7.
3. This By-Law will be effective when tie proper signs are erected.
4. Any person who violates the provisions of this By-Law shall be
subject to a fine of .$ 10.00, and costs, by the Convicting
Magistrate, and such fine and costs shall be, recoverable under
the Summary Convictions Act.
