SAID VILLAGE, IN THE YEAR /f r3
+VHEREAS the Trustees of the Yolico Village of Claremont have bi. A
requested for the levy of a special rate of 2.4 Mills on the Dollar
upon all the rateable property in the said Village to defray the cost
of maintaining Street Lights, and meet the costs of other sundry
Village requirements, during the year 1953-
AND WHEREAS the total tax4able property in the said Police Village
is the sum of $316,079.57 -
BE IT THEREFORE ENACTED by the Municipal Council of the Township
of Pickering -
THAT there be raised, levied and collected from and upon all
the rateable property in the Police Village of Claremont, in the
year 1953, the rate or sum of 2.Al Mills on the Dollar, amounting

Police Village of Claremont in the said year.
