WHEREAS the amount to be-aised by general levy from the
w.o e of the Public School Supporters in the said Townshii
L in the present year, for payment of the Statutory Township
Grants to Public Schools, required by Section 115 of the
Public Schools Act, R.S.O. 1950, is the sum of $24g'V7.8$
AND WHEREAS the Assessment of Public School supporters in
the Municipality in the year 1953 is $8,671,503.60.
BE IT THEREFORE ENACTED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE
TOWNSHIP OF PICKERING -
That there be raised, levied and collected from and upon
all the rateable property in the said Municipality, including
the Police Villages of Claremont and Pickering assessed for
rr? Public School purposes in the year 195 , the rate of 2.1j Mills
on the dollar, which will amount to X25. for the
purposes of paying Statutory Grants to the Public Schools in
t'•ie said Tunicipality in the said ,year.
