HomeMy WebLinkAboutBy-law 1921G B Y - L A W N IT 11 B F R 1 9 2 1 A BY-LAW OF THE. MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE TOWNSHIP OF PICKERING TO APPROPRIATE CERTAIN LANDS FOR ROAD PURPOSES. WHEREAS it is a matter of public safety that the two right angle turns e ween Lots 32 and 33, where they intersect the Third Concession line, be eliminated. AND WHEREAS the owner of said properties, Joseph Garland, has refused to se the requisite lands to the Municipality; BE IT THEREFORE ENACTED rev THT; ngUNTCTPAL COUNCIL OF THE TOWNSHIP OF PICKFRING: 1. THAT the following lands are hereby appropriated by the Municipality: FIRSTLY ALL AND SINGULAR that certain parcel or tract of land and premises situate, lying and beinf,, in the Township of Pickering and County of Ontario and being composed of that part of Lot 33 in the Third Concession of the said Township, which is more particularly described as follows: COMN FNCING at the south-easterly anr*le of the said Lot 33; THFNCF northerly alnng the easterly limit of the said Lot 33, a -stance of 180 feet; THFNCF southerly to a point in the southerly limit of the said Lot 7T, cstant 1?8 feet measured westerly thereon from the point of commencement, a distance of IM.911 feet more or less; THENCE, easterly alonrr the said southerly limit, a distance of 1?8 feet to the point of commencement. SFCONDLv ALL AND SINGULAR that certain parcel or tract of land and premises situate, v_ng and being in the Township of Pickering and County of Ontario, and being composed of that part, of Lot 32 in the Second Concession of the said Township, which is more particularly described as follows: COP4P??,NrrNC at the north-westerly angle of the said Lot 32; THFNCF southerly alonk the westerly limit of the said Lot 3?, a s ante of 200 feet; THENCE northerly to a point, in the northerly limit of the said Lot 3T, d{stant 47 feet measured easterly thereon from the point of commencement, a distance of 200.0 feet more or loss; THFNCF westerly alone the said northerly limit of the said Lot 32, a distance of 47 feet to the point of commencement. 2.
