HomeMy WebLinkAboutBy-law 1917 BY - LAW N UMBER ly?7 A BY-LA'N OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF THE TOWNSHIP OF PICKERING TO RESTRICT CERTAIN LANDS FOR INDUSTRIAL, USES, ONLY. WHEREAS our Planning Board have recommended the hereinafter-mentioned areas of the Township to be zoned for industrial uses only; AND WHEREAS owners of farms within the proposed zoned area have met among themselves and with their local zoning committee, and as they claim there is little objection to such zoning, the committee have requested the Council to pass the necessary By-Law for such zonin7; BE IT THI'RE.+ORE ENACTED BY THE MUNICIPAL COU`ICIL OF THE TOWNSHIP OF PICI,RING TKAT: (1) The area within the following,, described lines he zoned for industrial uses only: COM^S4ENCING at the south-east an.-le of Lot No. 15 in the Third Range of the Broken Front; THENCE westerly to the south-east angle of Lot 17 in the Third Range of the Broken Front; THENCE southerly along; the easterly limit of Lot 17 in the Second Range of the 'roken P'ront to Lake Ontario; THENCE westerly along the north shore line of Lake Ontario to the westerly limit of,Lot 19 in Broken Front, Range 2; THENCE northerly in and alon; the westerly limit of Lot Number 19 in Broken Front Range 2 to the south-east angle of Lot Number 20 in Broken Front, Ran-_'(1 3; THENCE westerly alone the southern limit of Lot 20 in Broken Front, Ranme 3 to the south-west corner of said lot in Concession Broken Front Range 3; THENCE northerly in and aloni-I Lot 20, broken Front, Ra»^;e 3, a c stance of 699 feet, 9-314 inches; THENCE westerlir'at a ri-ht an-le to the westerly limit of Lot 21 in T?roken Front, Range 3; THENCE northerly 1849 feet 7 inches in and alon- the westerly TT-mTt of Lot Number 21, Broken Front, range 3, to a point; THENCE westerly at a right angle to the westerly limit of Lot Number 22, Broken 'Front, Range 3, and bein- the eastern boundary of what is called the Liverpool Road; THENCE northerly alon-* the westerly limit of Lot No. 22 in Broken Front, Ranme 3, and part of Concession 1, to the southern limit of the King's Highway Number 2; THENCE north-easterlv along- the southern limit of the King's Hi-hwav No. 2 in Concession 1 to the westerly limit of Lot.
