WHEREAS under By-Law No. 1,923 a FIRE AREA was created comprising Lots No. 24 to 3u, inclusive from Lake Ontario to half way between Concessions No. 3 and No. 4, known as FIRE AREA 110. 1, and has an assessment of 7.T9.3 o_. ? 7Z__ AND 6.. WHEREAS the remaining part of the Township secures protection from the Police Villages of Pickering and Claremont and the Brour_ham Fire Brigade, each receiving a yearly guarantee of FOUR HUTIDRED DOLLARS (?VOO -) ; AND WH7?RAS the assessment for the Police Villages of Claremont and c erinF, for the year 1952, is 9v3. ?//. g? and as they own their local fire fiPhtIng equipment, are exempt from further levy; AND WHEREAS the assessment of the Municipality, excludinT Fire Area No.7 and_fhe two Police.
